The Service Review Kit guides councils in improving services, achieving efficiencies, generating savings and increasing income. It contains everything needed to conduct reviews in-house including procedures, tools and forms.
We have provided the Service Review Kit to many organisations throughout Australia. It was gratifying when the Queensland Division of Local Government issued the full kit to all of the State’s councils through its Local Government Capacity Building Program.
We have proudly pioneered service reviews for many years. Our methodology is based on extensive international research and studies we undertook for the Australian Centre of Excellence for Local Government (ACELG). SmartGov played a major role in the development of the ACELG service delivery review manual. We also incorporated our service review and improvement methodologies into courses presented through the Centre for Local Government at the University of Technology Sydney.
